Should the applicant be accepted, the Master’s Degree will be funded by the Department of General Surgery. The intent of the fellowship is to equip the selected applicant with the knowledge, experience, and skills required for leadership positions in undergraduate and graduate medical education.Fellows routinely present at top surgical education meetings including: the Academic Surgical Congress, the American College of Surgeons Accredited Educational Institute Conference, etc.

This is a 2-year non-accredited clinical fellowship in Pediatric Surgery and is fully integrated into the Pediatric Surgery Training Program. The international pediatric surgery fellow functions fully in all areas that would be part of the clinical training of ACGME approved trainees. The trainee will be directly supervised by the pediatric surgical faculty. Candidates eligible for this position will be expected to have completed their general surgical training and be candidates for advanced pediatric surgical training in their native country.
